After dinner B/S 127 (60 min post-meal)

Dinner consisted of the black bean/Rotel mixture Bean/Rotel Mixture (1/2): 60KCal, 3.5g P, .25 F, 11g C, 475 Na and a baggie of salad no dressing 0-0-0-0. One can (12oz) of Sierra Mist 50 Na.

Played some WWF with Rose on line (maybe DAR), was really sucky-- scores in low 200's.

Spoke with LLP, she was mostly positive toward me today.

Took nightly Lantus shot (65 units) and pill cocktail at 7pm. Hoping for early start to sleep and early rise tomorrow (again) to start this veggie thing all over.

Banana (200-2-1-51-2). 51 carbs!

Quinoa pasta with dried tomato mixture and olive oil: 920 KCal, 56g P, 30g F, 106g C an 938 Na.

Bean/Rotel Mixture (1/2): 60KCal, 3.5g P, .25 F, 11g C, 475 Na + salad for 0-0-0-0.

1240 KCal-64g P-31.5g F-179C-1890mg Na. Ratio: 20P-23F-57C.

Livestrong.com 2012 'new years resolutions' is recommending 20% Protein, 20% Fat diet and 60% carb.

Body builder.com is recommening 40-20-40.

Remember, the goal of Dr. Barnard's program is to remove fats!

My ratio, which is almost in line with Livestrong. I need to get closer to the BB.com if I am not going to be sedentary. If I had drank one shake, it would have changed the ratios:

1350-81P-34.5F-180C to 24%P-23.5%F-53%C, still too high. I need to make sure the protein balance is above 30% daily, and as close to 40% as possible.
